Qur’an Kemenag Android Privacy Policy

Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia built the Qur'an Kemenag as a Free application. This SOFTWARE is provided by Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Software.

If you choose to use our Software, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Software. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Currently we only collect unidentifiable city-level location for statistical purposes. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable informations. It is our policy that users and their family members privacy are safe. Therefore we do not collect emails, phone numbers, or any other informations. However, the Software does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you. You can read these privacy policy of third party service providers used by our Software:

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Software, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Software, the time and date of your use of the Software, and other statistics.

Device permissions for Personal Data access

Depending on the User's specific device, this Software may request certain permissions to perform certain operations as described below.

By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective features can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact us for support at the contact details provided in the present document.

The exact procedure for controlling app permissions may be dependent on the User's device and Android version.

Please note that the revoking such permissions might impact the proper functioning of this Software.

• Access Network State & Internet (continuous)

  Used for getting Qur'anKemenag contents.

• Camera permission

  Used for scanning QR Code on Tashih Certificates.

• Write External Storage permission (continuous)

  Used for caching server contents for better performance.

• Foreground Services permission

  Used for notifying users for incoming prayer time.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
